So how does the
Journey process work?
It has been scientifically shown that suppressing
the emotions blocks cell receptors. This interferes
with normal healthy communication between cells, impairing
body function. Conversely, allowing the feelings to
flow unblocks the receptors. This explains one of
the reasons this simple process is so profoundly powerful
and how results can be instant!

What can I expect from a session?
A Journey process is targeted towards your specific
issues. You are guided in a safe and gentle way rather
like a very deep guided meditation.
You will uncover specific cellular memories at the
root of your issues and empty out all the associated
pain contained within. Tracey will then help you to
clear out all the blocks to forgiveness, so that you
can finally release yourself, leaving you resting
in boundless joy, peace and wholeness. Once completely
free from these memories, healing at a cellular level
can take place.
No two processes are the same. All journey processes
with Tracey are “Designer” processes,
tailored to suit your needs, and can last up to 4
hours. This allows us the time to honour and follow
whatever you body wishes to reveal and heal.
How did Journey work originate?
The Journey was pioneered by one of the world’s
leading mind-body experts, Brandon Bays, from her
own dramatic personal experience.
In 1992 Brandon was diagnosed with a large tumour
in her womb. Determined to fully utilise her own resources,
she drew upon all her skills and experience and created
the powerful self-discovery process – now called
“The Journey”. 6 ½ weeks later
she was pronounced by medical doctors, “text-book
perfect” tumour free, without drugs
or surgery!
How will I feel after a session?
Most people feel much lighter, happier and energised,
with a deep sense of well-being. People often visibly
shine! Some may experience an initial tiredness as
shifts are beginning to happen and the body is detoxifying.
Healing can be instant. Pain can miraculously disappear
by the end of the session, as has been my own experience!
Some people have ended dependency on pain-killers,
anti-depressants or sleeping pills immediately after
a journey. For others, cellular recovery takes time
as the body is regenerating itself.
Sometimes the effects can be very subtle, and it is
sometime later that, you realise a particular difficult
emotional issue or habit no longer arises, or you
are no longer getting those symptoms, pain has vanished
or your relationships have improved.
The Journey can and does transform
lives:
“My heart felt healed, whole.
I felt as if I’d been washed from the inside
out, as if someone had just wiped me clean. I wanted
to dance, sing and celebrate…. I felt free.”

How many Journey Sessions
will I need?
One Journey session is often all a person needs to
heal a particular issue. Sometimes there can be many
issues related to a particular problem. Clearly, a
number of sessions maybe required to clear the physical
issue.
We all hold many different issues in our beings.
You may just want to work with one specific issue,
or work through several issues over a period of time
like weekly, fortnightly or monthly. If you want to
continue working on your various issues then
regular Journey work is powerful. Brandon
recommends that people ideally process at least once
a month.
Brandon herself underwent several Journey processes
in the period after the initial spontaneous one on
the couch to clear out all issues regarding her tumour.
Depending on what is going on for you it may be apparent
that a series of more frequent sessions would
be most appropriate for you. As a guide, this is often
the case if you:
- are at a crisis point in your life.
- have a serious health issue or are attempting to
come off medication.
- have several complex core issues or blocks you would
like to clear and be free from.
At the end of your first session Tracey will be glad
to help you decide what is best for you and if there
is anything else you could be doing to support yourself
further. Tracey will also show you how you can use
Journeywork on yourself in between sessions.
How can I support myself before and after a Journey
process?
Before
It is recommended that you have read Brandon’s
book “The Journey” before your first Journey
process. It is also available on CD read by Brandon
Bays. This enables your mind to be able to relax in
the knowledge that you know what the Journey process
is about. It is written in a way that is designed
to start you beginning to process before your session
ever begins.
It is a good idea to eat lightly before your process,
to allow room for emotions to come up. A slow-release
protein based food would be ideal.
Many people find that emotions can come up just before
a process. Welcome them and allow them to be present.
If this is not the case for you it’s fine as
time is put aside at the beginning of the session
to talk in depth.
After
You are advised to take it easy for the rest of the
day. Although people often feel refreshed and renewed
after a Journey process, you will want to honour this
time of integration. All Journeys bring about intense
cellular activity and detoxification. Support your
body in it’s healing by taking care of yourself
physically; maybe a hot bath, some wholesome soup,
perhaps a massage and an early night. Tracey may recommend
other suggestions that would be helpful.
The cleansing process can last a few days, during
which time emotions or memories may gently surface
and be liberated as the healing takes its course.
They are like the beads falling off a broken necklace.
Once you have broken the string of the necklace by
working successfully with one issue, you’ll
find that other related issues and behaviours can
fall away.
Journeywork fits in well with other therapies, like
herbal organ cleansing and detoxification or bodywork,
and is actively encouraged to support your clearing.
How can I support myself after a Journey Intensive
Workshop?
In addition to the above recommendations, due to
the nature of the workshop, you are encouraged to
continue regular processing afterwards.
Often after a Journey Intensive you can experience
a whole host of emotions coming up. This is natural
and to be encouraged. They are arising to be freed.
One of the best ways of supporting yourself is to
book a Journey or a Journey Massage
session for during the weeks after the intensive.
